John J. Placht is a seasoned executive with over 40 years of experience in financial services, accounting, tax and business consulting. He brings a wealth of expertise with particular strengths in areas such as financial reporting systems, profit & loss reporting and analysis, tax consulting, fraud & forensics analysis involving litigation support and serves as an expert witness.

Currently, John operates a small accounting and tax practice in St. Louis, Missouri which he started in June of 1989. He advises over 75 small business's involved in various industries. He offers his tax and management consulting advice to an array of industries. This past year he has spearheaded his fraud & forensic division and has grown by over 25%. He has worked with three clients this past year in selling their companies to third parties in smooth transitions. He has strong analytical and problem solving skills. John has established himself as a thought leader in the area of financial expertise for business owners and is becoming known as an expert in the fraud arena. He is a speaker which he recently spoke at an MSCPA fraud event and the St. Louis Owners Business Forum as part of the Exit Planning Institute. John has recently been appointed to the ACFE Advisory Council.
